Pure Solutions: Giving the Gift of Hope

We are excited to announce Five Star Bath Solutions' outreach program, Pure Solutions. Our goal through this program is to give the gift of hope by improving the lives of those around us, including the people in our communities.

For our first project we are volunteering next week at The Road Home in Salt Lake City, Utah, to sort through donations.

The Road Home

The Road Home is a social service, non-profit agency that offers emergency services, shelter, clothing and programs to help people who are struggling with homelessness. They operate the largest homeless shelter in the State of Utah.

The programs The Road Home offers give people the tools they need to get themselves out of homelessness. With this knowledge individuals are better able to keep themselves from falling back into a homeless situation again. Program facilitators work with individuals, teaching them the skills they need to change their life. They empower people to get out of homelessness, to be able take care of themselves and their families so they can have a better life.

The Road Home also teams up with community partners to further their goal of helping people get out of homelessness as quickly as possible. They believe that building a strong community will help people to overcome homelessness and become a contributing member of the community.

Lend and Hand

This agency has a variety of opportunities for volunteering from literacy and interpreting, to front desk volunteers. They also accept both monetary and in-kind donations like clothing, blankets and baby supplies.
